As part of its new Luxe Custom Colour service, the iconic British brand now offers an innovative approach allowing customers the flexibility to customise finishes onto its freestanding baths and basins, in more new ways than ever before.
Effectively, the bath or basin’s exterior surface becomes a blank canvas, which is then transformed using a mix of colour options and art treatments enabling customers to create an entirely coordinated bathroom fit out.

Beyond their Standard Colours range of six colours covering black, grey and white shades in either a matte or gloss finish finished using a specialist catalysed paint, V+A offer a full spectrum of 194 colours, along with the ability to custom colour match from a single sample swatch, popular paint name or colour code.

Raising the glamour stakes even further is V+A’s bespoke finishes, including crazing, pearl, metallic paints, glitter fleck and rust replication, which create effects allowing the bath or basin to stand out as a hero piece. For these options, you could use the bath colour to complement a softer palette or even go big and bold with a grand black basin statement.
But what really caught our eye was V+A’s custom artwork options.
Offering personalisation at its finest, the V+A team can transform a sample image into a full-sized artwork and then splash the image across its baths or basins. For this custom paintwork option, your client can select their own artwork for their project. We’ve seen full-sized graphics on baths utilised in residential homes, plus illustrations for branding iconography ideal for commercial applications, such as restaurants and hotels.
